Do I have to book online in advance?
We strongly recommend booking online to ensure your secure your space. Our top tip is to book in advance (at least 24 hours) online. We are often fully booked – spontaneous guests do not always get a place.
When should we arrive
We are a remote venue; we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start time of your booked session
Do spectators have to pay admission ?
Spectators are more than welcome to follow you from the ground as you progress through the activities. There is no charge for spectators.
What should I wear ?
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing suited to exercise in the outdoors. Closed in shoes (e.g. trainers) are required, no open toe footwear including sandals, sliders or crocs are NOT allowed. We do not recommend wearing short shorts or having an exposed midriff as this can be uncomfortable when wearing a harness. Hair shoulder length or longer must be tied up to minimise the risk of it becoming caught and so that a helmet can be worn comfortably. A helmet must also be able to be fitted over any headwear.
Where can I park and do I have to pay for parking ?
Free parking at Woldingham school entrance via Woldingham Road, use sat nav code CR3 7LR and follow signs to Woldingham School.
Are there toilets ?
As we are based within the woodland, portaloos are available for guests.
Are there lockers ?
We would recommend leaving valuables at home, there are no lockers available
Do I need to sign a Disclaimer to participate ?
Yes, everyone participating on the course will need to sign a disclaimer before they begin, to save time you can do this online before arriving at the course.
Can I take a dog with me ?
Dogs can spectate and must be always kept on a leash. Should participants be distracted with barking, the dog and owner maybe asked to move away from the area.
Is there any food or drinks available at Woldingham Adventure
We do not have the facility to provide food or drinks, our nearest shop is 3 miles away. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink with you, all rubbish to be taken home with you. Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited
Does everyone have to attend the safety briefing?
Yes! As the name suggests, this is about your safety, so everyone must attend the safety briefing, even if you have visited us before.
How fit do I need to be?
You need to be reasonably fit and agile as the course are physically and mentally challenging. We recommend pregnant women or people with medical conditions do not participate before checking with your doctor.
Are there age, height or weight restrictions ?
Yes, each activity highlights the restrictions.
Are the instructors qualified to run the activities?
Our instructors have completed the necessary assessments required to facilitate all activities and undergo a rigorous training programme during the hiring process. Each instructor carries a First Aid certificate.
Do you close if it is raining ?
Woldingham Adventure is based within the Woodland and is sheltered well from the rain. You can complete the course in bad weather equipped with suitable clothing. Safety comes first should the area become unsafe we will contact you to cancel your booking,
Can I bring a camera ?
Sure, if it’s attached to you in some way so you can’t drop it. If you choose to do so, cameras, smartphones and GoPro’s must be securely attached to you and are used at your own risk. Our priority is your safety.
Is it safe ?
Safety is our top priority. Our instructors are professionally trained, and we never compromise on your safety.
Can I bring a phone?
We discourage participants from carrying personal items that can be dropped during adventures as we don’t carry any liability for items damaged or lost. You can bring your own phone or camera as long as it has a strap.
Can I wear spectacles or sunglasses?
Yes, but we would recommend these are attached to you.
